Fear of water is a problem faced by thousands of people who want to learn the art of swimming. The people who have strong will power do overcome this problem.

5) At this point you have to learn that it is normal to have water touching your nostrils and even entering the nose, as long as you are holding your breath and your head is in the upright position. God has created the human body in such a way that you are in an upright position water of a shallow pool can't get high enough to enter the respiratory track. The water feels unpleasant only when it gets into the sinuses. An experienced swimmer has water flowing into and out of his nostrils in each stroke cycle but he hardly notices it.

6) Holding your breath, squat down until your nose is underwater; the water surface is between your eyes and nose. Keep your ears from dipping in water by tilting your head a bit. In this position you will notice that water does enter you nose, but does not go high enough to give you any trouble, as you are holding your breath. Stay in this position for a few seconds get up to breath.

7)Tilting you head backwards ,hold your breath and try to slide down the surface of water, move down until your nose and ear are zwemschool rotterdam under water, but your eyes are still out of water.in this position water does not enter your mouth but a little bit of it enters your nose. You can hear muffled up voices when water enters your ears. You should stay in this position for some times.

8)Now is the time for you to thank God for giving you a strong eardrum ,in the presence of which water can't damage your ear and all the water that enters your ear comes out when you come out of water. Water can’t hurt your ears.

9) While wearing swim goggles, hold your breath and slide down the water to the point where your eyes are also submerged under water. Your goggles won’t let water enter your eyes. Try to hold this position for a few seconds before standing up .If you think you arse comfortable with the feel of water in this drill, you can squat some more to explore the world under the surface of water.

10) Now if you have made friends with water try to exercise some playful dips by rhythmically submerging into the water and again emerging out of it. This drill will later on help you in learning swimming and its different strokes.
